no golf ball ever made will do anything to reduce your slice. The problem is your swing, not your equipment or golf ball. Sorry. Keep your head down throughout the swing and try to keep your left arm LOCKED in place during the entire swing (up-swing, down-swing, and impact).

I have found that high-performance balls such as the nike one platinum and the titleist pro v1 tend to make slices less severe…..
If you don’t feel that you could afford such balls, mainly because of fear losing them, the titleist nxt tour works well too. I have used these balls recently during my last few rounds, and the shots that i sliced using the driver would still find the fairway, or would just be a few yards away from it.
Mikek is right. If you slice the golf ball it’s your swing plane combined with an open clubface striking the golf ball. You don’t want a suggestion to go for lessons so even though that’s what you need I won’t suggest it to you. Here’s a good drill that might help.
You’re on the range. Think about the golf ball as a clock. Your target line is 12 o’clock. Most slicers will impact the ball with the club face at about 5 o’clock. In order to hit the ball straight you need to strike the ball at 6 o’clock. In order to draw or hook the ball you need to strike it at 7 o’clock. Additionally you need to close up the clubface at impact. One thing that helps with this is keeping your hands low and your right elbow tucked in fairly close to your torso when swinging through the ball. Take a head cover or a towel and tuck it under your right arm pit when swinging the club. If the head cover/towel falls out when your swinging your elbow is getting too far away from your body.
Good luck and good golf.
Top Flite Super Straight is the kind of ball you’re looking for. A ball CAN reduce the effects of a slice if the ball spins less. Spin is what causes the ball to move. A ProV1 or similar ball is designed to spin, allowing players to control their shots by playing fades and draws, or stopping the ball on the greens. A lesser player will see a bigger slice if using this kind of ball, all else being equal.
Any 2 piece distance ball will spin less on bad shots than a 3 or 4 piece premium ball. The Top Flight I mentioned has a teflon cover that causes the ball to slide off the club face more, imparting less spin on the ball. I’ve messed around with these balls and it really does work. The ball flies straight, even if you don’t want it to fly straight.
Give them a try. They’re cheap so you have little to lose. The downside is that they feel hard, and if you play firm greens you’ll struggle to stop the ball on approaches. But if the slice is what is killing you then these could help. That said, nothing will help like curing your slice.
Go to the range, lay a headcover a few inches outside the ball (opposite side from where you stand) and hit the ball without hitting the headcover. If you do that you’ll reduce your slice.
Titleist Pro V 1, what you are doing is taking the club back to straight away from the ball, take the club back more inside on the take away(toward yourself) both hands firm, both hands equal pressure, good luck.
nike one platinum is the best…they are only $ 25 for last years model, i use them and i always hit the fairway..plus, it has a 4-piece design, so it is less forgiving as well.
any ball described as super straight is what u need and if ur driver is the problem try a draw angled driver
