I’m in Virginia Beach, which is several hours north of Myrtle Beach, but enjoys a similar oceanside climate. Here golf can be pretty much year round, but it’s different from week to week. From December to March you may have frost or even a little snow one week, then 60s the next.

Here [ http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/wxclimatology/monthly/graph/USSC0239?from=search ] is a graph of average temperatures for Myrtle Beach, and it looks about the same: From Nov to Mar average lows stay under 45º. Of course, average highs are rarely below 60º.

I suggest looking more in-depth into the courses and packages offered there. Ask what their policies are on cold or snowed out days to make sure you’re covered, but I think you should be alright almost anytime of year.

Alright so I’m a 15 year old female and I’ve never played golf except for mini golf. But I want to get on my schools golfing team this year so I bought myself a golf set. The thing is, try outs is next week, and although we have a no cut for girls team, I still want to do my best at try outs and I can’t do so without practice. There is a golf course/driving range about 10 blocks away and I’m planning on taking the bus there tomorrow, but what do I do when I’m there? Like how do I purchase buckets of balls? and how am I allowed to go into the driving range area where you hit the balls reeaaaly far? Do I have to pay for going into that thing too? and is there an area where I can practice putting? Oh, and should I wear proper golf clothes? I just don’t want to look like a fool since I’ll be going with my self for the first time. Also, none of my family is into golf so I’m kind of alone on this one. PLEASE help.

the acaemy you speak of is not worth the money you will spend in going to. get you a job at a local golf club starting out at the cart attentant and being around golf you will learn just as much maybe faster then take a short class at the local golfsmith to learn about club repair and fitting system.
